1. Scope of License

The Application is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under the terms of this Agreement.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, and as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Application
• Redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or sell the Application
• Use the Application for unlawful purposes

Upon sale or transfer of your device, you must remove the Application.

2. Ownership

All intellectual property rights in the Application, including software, design, text, and logos, are owned by the Developer. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in this Agreement.

3. Data Collection & Privacy Principles

3.1 Data Minimization

Remindion is designed with a privacy-first architecture.

By default:

• All task and project data is stored locally on your device unless you explicitly enable cloud sync or AI features that require sending data to external services.
• No personal task content is transmitted or stored on external servers unless you choose to use specific online features (such as iCloud sync, Notion integration, or AI-powered assistance) and grant the required permissions.

3.2 Categories of Data We May Collect

Depending on which features you use, we may collect and process the following categories of data:

3.2.1 Data you provide directly

• Tasks, projects, goals, reminders, schedules and notes you create in the app
• Optional financial and planning data (e.g. budgets, statements, due dates, amounts) if you use related features
• Text and voice input you provide to the AI assistant (“Remi”) when you choose to use AI features
• Email address (only if you join beta programs, create a support request, or sign up for optional communications)

3.2.2 Device and usage data

• Device model, operating system version, app version
• Optional diagnostic logs (crash reports, error states)
• Anonymized usage metadata (e.g. task counts, feature usage, sync status, performance metrics)

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

3.3 AI Features and Third-Party Services

Remindion includes optional AI-powered features, such as the Remi assistant, AI-based planning, and AI-powered financial insights. When you choose to use these features, some of the data described in section 3.2 may be sent to third-party AI services.

3.3.1 What data may be sent to AI services

• Text you type or dictate to the AI assistant (Remi), including questions, notes, and instructions
• Related task, project, goal, reminder and schedule details you choose to include
• When you use financial or calendar-related AI features, relevant transaction, statement, amount and date information you choose to send for analysis
• Context needed to provide AI suggestions (for example, recent messages in an AI chat session or a summary of your planning context)

You are always in control of what you send. Data is only transmitted when you actively invoke an AI feature.

3.3.2 AI providers and our backend

Depending on your configuration, data for AI features may be processed by:

• OpenAI (ChatGPT / GPT models), used by default to provide AI features
• Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, and DeepSeek – only if you explicitly enable them by adding your own API key in the in-app AI settings

For some AI features, Remindion may first send your request to Remindion’s own backend servers, which then securely forward the data to the selected AI provider. These backend services are used solely to route and manage AI requests and do not sell your personal data.

3.3.3 How AI data is used

Data sent to AI services is used only for generating suggestions, summaries, plans, and responses within Remindion. We do not use AI providers for third-party advertising. We do not sell your personal data.

3.3.4 Your choices and consent for AI

Before any personal data is sent to third-party AI services, we show an AI Assistant & Data Sharing screen. You can choose Allow AI to use my data or Not now.

You can change this decision at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy → Data Sharing.

4. How We Use Data

Collected data is used solely for:

• Delivering core features (task and project management, risk alerts, weekly planning, notifications)
• Providing AI-powered assistance (Remi), planning, and analysis when you choose to enable these features and consent to AI data sharing
• Providing user support and communication when requested
• Improving stability, reliability, and performance
• Understanding anonymized usage patterns in order to improve the product

We do not use your personal data for targeted advertising.

5. Third-Party Services

The Application may interact with third-party services only with your explicit consent:

• Notion OAuth – Used to sync tasks and projects with your Notion workspace. Access is limited strictly to the scopes you authorize.
• Third-party AI services – Such as OpenAI, and optionally Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude or DeepSeek, as described in section 3.3.
• Remindion backend services – Used to proxy some AI requests, manage trial/premium quotas, and provide sync or analytics functionality.
• Apple iOS Services – Notifications, Shortcuts, iCloud, and In-App Purchases as provided by Apple.
• Email Services – Only for user-initiated support and communication.

Each third-party service is governed by its own terms and privacy policies.

6. Data Storage & Security

• Default operation is device-local only, unless you enable sync or AI features that require remote processing.
• Optional iCloud sync is used only if explicitly enabled by you.
• When Notion integration is enabled, your data is synced with your Notion workspace according to the scopes you authorize.
• When AI features are enabled and consent is granted, only the data necessary for each AI request is transmitted.
• All external communications use HTTPS / TLS encryption.
• We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

7. User Rights

You may:

• Request deletion of your data by contacting us (see Contact below)
• Request information about the data we store and how we process it
• Revoke Notion OAuth access via your Notion account settings
• Disable AI data sharing at any time under Settings → Privacy → Data Sharing
• Opt out of beta communications and optional emails at any time

Depending on your jurisdiction (for example under GDPR or similar regulations), you may have additional rights such as the right to access, correct, restrict, or port your data.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. THE DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU USE THE APPLICATION AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, loss of data, profits, or business interruption, or any damages arising from use or inability to use the Application. In no event shall total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the Application.

10. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. The license will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any term. Upon termination, you must cease all use and delete the Application.

11. Legal Compliance & Export Restrictions

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to U.S. government embargo, and that you are not listed on any prohibited or restricted party list.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to This Agreement and Policy

We may update this Agreement and Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced within the Application or via email if provided.

If we make material changes to how we use or share your data (including changes related to AI features or third-party processors), we will inform you and, where required, request your renewed consent. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
